Loopmasters proudly present True Disco an authentic collection of Disco loops recorded with real instruments onto tape through an all analogue signal path for the most convincing collection of royalty free disco samples since Jon Travolta hung up his flares.
True Disco is an electrifying collection of Live instrument loops recorded through an analogue mixing desk into a valve compressor (hit pretty hard at times) for a bit of character and printed to analogue tape and then mixed and transferred back to the digital world.
True Disco is all about the vibe of that classic Disco era. Using real musicians, real instruments, microphones and vintage hardware we have intentionally NOT tried to create a shining polished version of retro classic grooves, everything here will have intentional grime and dust added, partially the effect of using vintage gear but we also wanted to recreate the sound of sampling direct from classic vinyl recordings so give your sampler a proper treat, go crazy with the filters, remix them, mash them up and make them your own.
The Loops were recorded at 24Bit 44.1Khz at tempos of between 110 and 125 BPM and come in the keys of A, C and E. Instruments used include Vintage Acoustic Drums, Korg MS20 and cool guitar list that includes Gibson Les Paul, Fender Telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, Ibanez Artcore archtop, Yamaha Bass, Martin dreadnought and a Yamaha classical powered up through both Vox AC15 and a Fender Superchamp amps and a massive collection of Vintage pedals for added Wah, Fuzz and general audio naughtiness.
The collection features over 400 loops with 5 ready to arrange construction kit style tracks plus a huge amount or extra Drum, Guitar, Bass, Strings, Horns and Keys loops ready to drop into your Nu Disco, House or Funk productions.
