GENOME is an extensible procedural geometry modifier for 3ds Max.
It operates on mesh data channels using the same Magma node-based channel editor originally introduced in Thinkbox Software's Krakatoa MX. GE.NO.M.E. = GEometry NOde Magma Editor.
GENOME is fast, flexible, artist-friendly, and tightly integrated with other Thinkbox tools. Its channel-editing workflows are more similar to those found in node-based image compositing applications, making it easy to learn for non-programmers.
GENOME provides highly optimized geometry and particle lookup operations not available in the 3ds Max SDK, allowing some modifiers to perform orders of magnitude faster than equivalent 3ds Max modifiers. |
